Specimen Requirement
1 mL of serum is required.
Additional Specimen Collection Information
Collect blood in a red-top tube or serum get tube. A fasting specimen is preferred (12-hour fast is recommended). Hemolyzed specimens are unacceptable.
Performance
Testing is performed Monday through Sunday.
Same day turn around time if the specimen arrives at the testing site by 1300.
