Random urine specimen in a tightly capped container. Store specimen refrigerated at 2-8°C.

Useful For

Assessing the concentrating and diluting ability of the kidney


Testing is performed Monday through Sunday.

Typically completed within 4 hours after the specimen arrives at the testing site.
