Preferred: Green top (sodium or lithium heparin)

Acceptable: Light-green top (sodium or lithium heparin plasma gel)

Submission Container/Tube: Amber vial

Specimen Volume: 2 mL

Collection Instructions: Centrifuge within 2 hours of collection and aliquot into amber vial.
