Test Method

Testing Algorithm
An Antibody Identification is performed with all obstetric patient Antibody Titers.
Specimen Requirement
A 5 mL EDTA purple-top tube is preferred.
Additional Specimen Collection Information
7 mL red-top, 5 mL heparin green-top or 5 mL blue-top tubes are also acceptable. Serum and plasma gel tubes are not acceptable.
Performance
Testing is performed Monday through Sunday.
Typically completed the same day received at the testing site.
